My name is Zeng Qinyu. I'm 12 years old. I'm from Lu Zhou, China. Lu Zhou is a beautiful city. I live here 12 years. I love my hometown very much. My finish school is Lu Shi School. It's a beautiful school. In there ,there are many amiable teachers and lovely classmates. I love my school very much. Because there are 6 years of recall in my school. I have two good friends. One is XXX. She is in Qing Dao now.The another one is XXX. She is in NO.7 Middle School. A Scary Experience
In 2002 a very scary thing happened around me.One day, at school，as usual, my classmates and I were having our physics class. Most of the students were paying attention to what the teacher was saying, but some boys were looking around and not listening to the class. Nothing seemed unusual.
Suddenly, one of my classmates shouted, “Look outside!! Someone jumped out of that window!” This definitely interrupted class, but everyone ignored him because no one believed that people just jumped out of a window in a tall building. People always tell lies and try to trick you, so no one took any action about it. My classmate was still saying, “Believe me, it is true.”
After a few minutes, the truth shocked everyone, because my classmate was right. A student just committed suicide by jumping from the building which was facing ours. The class stopped and some brave people went outside to see, but I didn’t. They told me there was blood all over the ground. They couldn’t even recognize who that student was because his face was all messed up. People from the school quickly covered the dead body. In a few minutes, everyone in the school knew what just happened.
This whole event happened so quickly. There were actually two people who saw the whole thing. One was my classmate who shouted in the class and another was a teacher walking nearby. The teacher was totally scared. At the moment the student dropped on the ground in front of her she sat down with her eyes shut tightly. I heard that after this event the teacher was in the hospital for a month.

have a friend named Monty Roberts who owns a horse ranch in San Ysidro. He has let me use his house to put on fund-raising events to raise money for youth at risk programs.

The last time I was there he introduced me by saying, “I want to tell you why I let Jack use my house. It all goes back to a story about a young man who was the son of an itinerant horse trainer who would go from stable to stable, race track to race track, farm to farm and ranch to ranch, training horses. He wrote about his dream in great detail and he even drew a diagram of a 200-acre ranch, showing the location of all the buildings, the stables and the track. Then he drew a detailed floor plan for a 4,000-square-foot house that would sit on a 200-acre dream ranch.”

“He put a great deal of his heart into the project and the next day he handed it in to his teacher. Two days later he received his paper back. On the front page was a large red F with a note that read, ‘See me after class.’”

“The boy with the dream went to see the teacher after class and asked, ‘Why did I receive an F?’”

“The teacher said, ‘This is an unrealistic dream for a young boy like you. You have no money. You come from an itinerant family. You have no resources. Owning a horse ranch requires a lot of money. You have to buy the land. You have to pay for the original breeding stock and later you’ll have to pay large stud fees. There’s no way you could ever do it.’ Then the teacher added, ‘If you will rewrite this paper with a more realistic goal, I will reconsider your grade.’”
“老师回答道：‘你年纪轻轻，不要老做白日梦。你没钱，没家庭背景，什么都没有。盖座农场可是个花钱的大工程；你要花钱买地、花钱买纯种马匹、花钱照顾它们。你别太好高骛远了。’他接着又说：‘如果你肯重写一个比较不离谱的志愿，我会重新给你打分。’”
“The boy went home and thought about it long and hard. He asked his father what he should do. His father said, ‘Look, son, you have to make up your own mind on this. However, I think it is a very important decision for you.’”
“这男孩回家后反复思量了好几次，然后征询父亲的意见。父亲只是告诉他：‘儿子，这是非常重要的决定，你必须自己拿定主意。’”
“Finally, after sitting with it for a week, the boy turned in the same paper, making no changes at all. He stated, ‘You can keep the F and I’ll keep my dream.’”
“再三考虑好几天后，他决定原稿交回，一个字都不改。他告诉老师：‘即使不及格，我也不愿放弃梦想。’”
Monty then turned to the assembled group and said, “I tell you this story because you are sitting in my 4,000-square-foot house in the middle of my 200-acre horse ranch. I still have that school paper framed over the fireplace.” He added, “The best part of the story is that two summers ago that same schoolteacher brought 30 kids to camp out on my ranch for a week.” When the teacher was leaving, he said, ‘Look, Monty, I can tell you this now. When I was your teacher, I was something of a dream stealer. During those years I stole a lot of kids’ dreams. Fortunately you had enough gumption not to give up on yours.’”

Don’t let anyone steal your dreams. Follow your heart, no matter what.

I went to an English Summer Camp this summer vacation. It's really a good chance to improve my English. I ate, lived, learnt and played with my foreign teachers and my classmates for about three weeks. In the morning, we had a four-hour-class. In the afternoon, sometimes we saw an English movie, otherwise we learned some English songs. In the evening, we had our free time. We all had a lot of fun.
