There was once a young shepherd who lived in a small village.
One day, the young man was so bored that he thought of an idea to trick the other villagers.
He shouted to the villagers that a wolf was coming and called for help. After the helpful villagers came with all their 'weapons' prepared, they realised that they were fooled by the shepherd, who laughed loudly at them for being tricked.
The shepherd was so naughty that he repeated the same thing the second day. The villagers were tricked once more. Being so angry, the villagers decided not to believe in the young shepherd anymore.
One day, a huge wolf really came to the farm and was about to eat up all the shepherd's sheep. Upon seeing the situation, the shepherd shouted loudly for help. Yet because of his previous behaviors, no one was there to help him.
The shepherd finally realised that he was wrong, yet there was no way to save the sheep from being eaten. In the end, all the sheep were eaten by the wolf.
This story tells us that we cannot tell lies.
