Yesterday was a happy Wednesday on May 20th . my classmates and I were going to climb the West Mountain and have a picnic . in the morning , we gathered at the school gate . we set off at 7 o'clock . however , it began to rain soon after we left school .but we continud walking . an hour later , we arrived at the foot of the mountain . and then the weather became fine . finally , we got to the top of the mountain . how beautiful the scenery is ! we had many activities , such as taking photos , singing ,dancing , playing games , playing chess and enjoying a picnic . we had a good time . after lunch , we decided to go down the hill . I arrived home at 4 in the afternoon . although tired , I think it was a good experience . I will memorize the special day!

母亲节
In the early morning, my sister went out and brought home a bunch of pretty flowers.Right after my mother got up out of bed,we said "Happy Mother's Day"! to her and gave her the flowers.My mother was very happy; she smiled and said,‘How wonderful the flowers look! Thank you! Also,we told her we were going to do all the housework for our beloved mother,and she could take a rest for a day. In the beginning,we were excited about all the work we can do at home.Before long, we found that the housework seemed to be endless,There was cooking and washing, and cleaning to do, and there was shopping to do, too .During the dinner hour, the kitchen seemed so busy. My father was making a salad, my sister was baking a pie for dessert, and I was washing rice and vegetables,and there were many other things to do.Finally, the dinner was ready; it was two hours behind the usual schedule.The food was not as delicious as my mother's. Nevertheless,my mother and father enjoyed it,and felt very proud of their daughter and son.

Last winter holiday, I went to Harbin with my mother.
It's very cold in winter. There is snow and ice everywhere and you are always in a white world. You must wear warm clothes. The most exciting thing is playing with snow. Skating is also very interesting there.

一次生日聚会
Jim went to Mary's birthday party last sunday. There were about 15 people there. They were celebrating it at a bar. Jim gave Mary a birthday card and a bunch of flowers. They played games, sang some songs including the birthday song. They shared the birthday cake. Some of them got very drunk. Mary was one of them. She was so drunk that she couldn't even pay the bill.
